WhO WE ARE?

PMONA was originally formed on 19 th May 1951 under the name and title of “MARITIME UNION OF PAKISTAN-KARACHI” under the Indian Trade Union Act 1926 wit registration No. 173, by Capt. Asad Ali Khan , thus he become the FIRST PRESIDENT of the captioned union. The Executive Board of “MARITIME UNION OF PAKISTAN-KARACHI” has unanimously decided to change the existing name to “PAKISTAN MERCANT NAVY OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION”.  In 7 th February 1967 the change of named has been approved under section 25 of the Trade Union Act 1926 “PAKISTAN MERCANT NAVY OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION” is Affiliate of  ITF – International Trade Federation, UK.

Objectives
